Girls Trip. Two simple words that can cause immense excitement amongst women everywhere and I don’t mean only because of the movie recently released. I partook in one of these girls trips myself a few months ago and I came out a whole new woman, with new goals and aspirations, new friends and a complete new look on life. I want to share this with others, not only by recounting my tales of wild nights and adventurous days but by giving you the opportunity to experience it for yourself. Introducing The Traveling Girls Club.

The Traveling Girls Club is a customized group tour for women over 35 in need of a break from everyday life and interested in meeting new people. It is meant to get you out of your comfort zone and get you to start traveling more, explore more and experience more. The Club is for women who are open to new adventures and possibilities.

2017 Goals

Why should you join? If the above was not enough to convince you, perhaps these 5 reasons will.

It’s about time you focus on YOU

We are mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, girlfriends, colleagues, coaches, councilors, therapists, event planners and referees. But when was the last time you were YOU? We are often so busy with our everyday lives that we barely have the time to stop and think what it is that we actually want.

We spend the majority of our teens longing to be adults, longing to be free. In our twenties we are too busy finding a career, the right partner and building that house with a white picket fence. In our thirties we are raising children and building empires. When your 40’s come knocking you have lost sight of who you are, what your dreams are and what you aspire to be. We women have the tendency to put everyone else’s needs in front of our own. The Traveling Girls Club gives you the opportunity to be you, even for a brief moment.

Female Bonding 101

Sometimes we crave new connections, new friends. This is what the club can offer. The small group of 6 to 10 women are all strangers who have never met before but are yet traveling together. In my experience this is the best way to create new connections, get new ideas and make unexpected new friends. You will basically be in a different environment with people you would have otherwise never spoken to. If this is not the best way to learn from others, I don’t know what is. Β You’re here to take a journey to self discovery and this is one of the best ways to do that.

Networking at its best

What happens when you combine these supportive women in an exotic location with time to finally think of something else beside their daily tasks back at home? Amazing creativity, personal and business growth. We women are not only fabulously supportive, we are also great at solving problems. A girls trip can be educational and just the kick in the butt you need to finally get moving on what you should be doing.

No Judgement

Do you want to order a second bottle of wine, cry about that pair of fabulous shoes you should have bought? Do what you need to do. There is no judgement here. You can do what you want and be who you want be for the duration of the trip. Dance around in a tiara, skinny dip in grandma panties, refuse to shave for all I care. Just be you.

The Destinations

The Traveling Girls Club will plan a few trips a year, each designed so you could have the most fun in the safest way, while experiencing all the destination itself has to offer. There will be trips to relax, to hike, to explore, to eat and drink, to shop and to indulge. Destinations such as Puerto Rico, Dominica, the BVI’s, Grenada and others are in the planning.
