I had the pleasure and immense honor of attending Anguilla’s first ever Folk & Blues Festival on the gorgeous beach of Rendezvous Bay last month. It was an amazing experience, made even more memorable when I combined it with exploring unknown parts of the island in my rental car and eating fresh fried fish, while enjoying Anguilla’s other more popular blues, that of its clear waters.
It has been 14 days since I’ve been back from Nevis and oh, do I miss it. I miss its simplicity, its history, its undeniable charm, its nature, its beauty and of course its wild monkeys and donkeys.
I was invited by the Nevis Tourism Authority to visit this Caribbean gem and experience all that it has to offer as well as attend their popular annual Blues Festival, but more on this in another post.
I’m going to Nevis!
My excitement has been almost uncontainable since I received an invitation from our national airline Winair and the Nevis Tourism Authority to attend the Nevis Blues Festival on April 7th and 8th and to spend a few days exploring this gorgeous, unspoiled Caribbean jewel.
