Flying nowadays in the middle of this pandemic is not easy. I flew from St. Maarten to Curaçao recently and this is my experience.
Hotel Review – Le Petit Hotel in St. Martin
“Two things I was immediately aware of as we first stepped into our room at Le Petit Hotel. One: the surprisingly large size of the room. Two: I was going to have a very hard time leaving this place.”
St. Maarten’s 5 Best Beaches
I am one lucky island girl. Not only do I get to call this very unique half Dutch, half French island my home, but I get to choose out of 37 beaches every single time I feel like going for a swim.
It occurred to me that I don’t share enough of the good, the great and the awesome that can be found on this friendly island. 5 Things I wish someone had told me about Travel Blogging
It’s been a year and change since I started this wonderful journey into the, to me back then unknown world of Travel Blogging. The 14th of July or Le Quatorze Juillet is a pivotal part of the French Revolution and thus French history that has developed into the Fête Nationale Francaise or the French National Day. It is celebrated with military parades, various activities, lots of food and gorgeous fireworks displays in Paris and all over France, and the French territories in the Caribbean are no exception.
This was my first Bastille Day celebration on French St. Martin. I am usually away around this time of year but was quite excited to finally be home to witness the activities and document how this day is celebrated the creole way.
14 Pictures that will make you want to spend the day at Le Temps des Cerises right now!
Sometimes you just stumble onto fabulousness and that is exactly what happened to me one February afternoon while strolling the streets of Grand Case, French St. Martin. I had no idea this place existed and if it wasn’t for the cute little boutique selling the cutest Boho Chic apparel, I would probably not have noticed this little gem of a hotel to begin with.
